Very enjoyable nights

We stayed in this lodge for two nights (one night in between them). The room was clean. The king bed was comfortable. The bathroom was smaller, but clean and well supplied with new thick towels. it looked like the room had been recently nicely updated and contemporary. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Serene decorating style. Road noise was not excessive. The room could have benefited having another chair of some sort, that is besides the desk chair. It was nice to be able to use the pool and hot tub at the adjacent property. The attached cafe was a step back in time to the Midwest (from when we have roots) with large portions of very tasty food. We ate two evening meals and two breakfasts and all our choices were good. Plate sharing is easy to do. Some times of the day seemed busy but the staff was efficient and friendly.
