Great location and charming facilities
USA
It was a part of the larger Yosemite Westgate Lodge, so check in there (next to the pool), NOT at the separate smaller Buck Meadows Lodge (restaurant) side. We stayed in Rm 607 which is around back, but not an issue, as we parked right by door. If anything, it's a bit quieter. Room was clean & neat w/good TV on wall. Air conditioner was very effective, but noisy when running (but not necessary, so we turned it off). Could have just opened a window if needed as it was cool. Restaurant had very good food for dinner and breakfast w/friendly service. The swimming pool looked nice and was being enjoyed by a number of kids & adults. Lots of room to park if you have an RV. Be sure to ask for a military discount when you check out (worth $10), if you're eligible.
Special Tips
Lodge is about 10 mi towards Yosemite from the "town" of Buck Meadows. So if you'd like to see CA's oldest saloon or eat somewhere else than the lodge, stop on the way in from the West. We opted not to drive back to the town to see it.
