Sorry, late check-outs likely cannot be accommodated during our peak season due to how busy our hotel operates.

Reservations will be required on select days beginning April 13 and ending October 27, during peak hours from 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM to enter Yosemite National Park

• On February 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 2024.
• From April 13 - June 30 reservations are required on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (May 27, June 19)
• From July 1 - August 16, reservations are required EVERY DAY - seven (7) days a week
• From August 17 - October 27, reservations are required on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (September 2 and October 14)

We have a 24 Hour Cancellation Policy. If you wish to cancel or modify a reservation, you must do so by 4 PM 24 hours or 1 day prior to your arrival date. If you cancel or modify post the expiration of the Cancellation Period or you fail to show up, a no-show charge will be levied on your credit card for one full night plus taxes and fees. 

The above Cancellation Policy does not apply if you have made a reservation with an Advance Purchase Discount or a Non-Refundable Discount. You will NOT be able to cancel or modify this pre-paid non-refundable reservation type.  Your total reservation amount will be charged at the time of booking and become prepaid and non-refundable.

Credit cards are pre-authorized prior to arrival.  The Hotel is not responsible for guaranteeing the reservation if an invalid or expired credit card is provided.  The name on the credit card used to check-in to pay for incidentals must be the primary name on the guestroom reservation.  Government-issued photo identification and a credit card are required in order to check in.

Note: Our office hours are from 8 AM - 10 PM.  Please call us at 209-962-9372 if you are going to be checking in after-hours to make late check-in arrangements.  If you are going to be later than 10 PM, there will be a Late Check-in Fee of $25 added to your charge.  The Buck Meadows Lodge is operated by its adjacent sister property, Yosemite Westgate Lodge. When you check in, please come to the main lobby at the Yosemite Westgate Lodge.

There is a nightly Amenities Fee of $5 per night which is included in your stay. 

The Buck Meadows Lodge is a 100% Non-Smoking Hotel. 

The Buck Meadows Lodge is a budget-friendly, clean and comfortable motel that is only 12 miles from the Hwy 120 Westgate Big Oak Flat Entrance to Yosemite National Park.

The Buck Meadows Lodge offers handicap van accessible parking, wheelchair ramp and easy access for a majority of rooms.  Our guest rooms feature bathtubs with grab bars. This hotel only requires 1 accessible room stipulated by the ADA thus does not have the capacity to have an accessible room with 2 beds nor is it required due to the size of the hotel. In addition, trying to convert the 1-bed accessible room into a 2-bed accessible room is not easily achievable due to physical constraints. Complimentary in-room Keurig coffee makers, microwave, refrigerator, seasonal outdoor pool (located at our adjacent sister property Yosemite Westgate Lodge), guest laundry facilities, and seasonal adjacent restaurant. You are welcome to use the business center at our sister property's lobby which has Internet connectivity. Please Note: There is a nightly Amenities Fee of $5 per night which is included in your stay.

In partnership with Electrify America, Buck Meadows Lodge is proud to offer the largest Electronic Vehicle Charging Station outside of Yosemite National Park.  We offer 4 charging stations so you can top off your electric vehicle while staying with us or dining at our on-site restaurant, The Lucky Buck Cafe.

There is a business center with Internet connectivity available at our sister property's lobby which is available for your use during business hours. Wireless internet is available but due to our remote location, we cannot guarantee performance and availability. Please note: There is very limited cellular coverage in our area and long-distance calls require a calling card.

We charge $10 per additional adult above double-occupancy. We consider children age 12 and over as adults. Rollaway beds are available for $15 additional per night. Special arrangements can be made at the time of check-in and are subject to availability.

ADA Defined Service Animals are welcome at our hotel, at no charge.

Buck Meadows Lodge is a pet-friendly hotel near Yosemite with three designated guest rooms that are eligible for small to medium size canine companions.  Only guest rooms 605, 606, and 607 are designated pet-friendly rooms at Buck Meadows Lodge.  Our dog-friendly rooms are first come, first reserved. There is a charge of $25 per night with a maximum charge of $75 (3-days) per stay, per pet (dogs only).  Limit of 2 dogs at 50 lbs or less or 1 dog at 80 lbs or less.  Guest must register their canine-friend, and is responsible for keeping their dog on leash, and restrained outside your room, at all times. Dogs are expected to be quiet, well behaved, and non-destructive. 

There is a pet-relief area where you must curb your dog.  $100.00 fee for unattended dog(s) in hotel room or hotel parking lot.  Unattended pets may be removed from the room or hotel property by staff and/or animal control without liability on the part of the hotel and the guest will assume all costs for such removal. There is a $250.00 cleaning fee, determined solely by management, for a room left in an unsatisfactory condition.  Destruction of any furnishings, flooring, or linen will be assessed per cost of repair or replacement.  Any violations of our pet-policy may result in non-refundable eviction.
